THE SPECIAL EDITION OF THE ORBITA MATCH BALL
PUMA and Lega Calcio Serie A today present the special edition of PUMA Orbita, the official match ball created for the 38th edition of the EA SPORTS FC Supercup, a competition set to take place in Riyadh with a four-team format featuring two single-elimination Semi-finals (18 December 2025: Napoli vs. Milan, and 19 December 2025: Bologna vs. Inter) and the Final on 22 December 2025.
The premium look of the PUMA Orbita in the Gold colorway celebrates the sporting excellence of the four Clubs participating in the competition.
Crafted with the highest technological standards, the ball ensures passing precision, stable trajectories, and optimal control. Every detail is designed to enhance player performance and offer spectators an engaging visual experience. The design is not merely decorative but an integral part of its performance. The PUMA Orbita FIFA Quality Pro ball uses cutting-edge technology to create an optimal sphere that maintains its shape and reduces water absorption. A POE foam layer is added to increase touch sensitivity, providing a firmer feel and more consistent rebound. In addition, the 1.2 mm 3D-textured PU surface improves aerodynamics and makes the ball more resistant to abrasion and wear, increasing its durability. The ball is also equipped with a rubber bladder and a PAL valve (PUMA Air Lock) for optimal air retention and bounce. Thanks to the partnership between Lega Calcio Serie A and EA SPORTS FC, the PUMA ball will soon be featured in the EA SPORTS FC™ 26 video game, giving fans the chance to experience the competition authentically in the digital world. Alongside the official EA SPORTS FC Supercup match ball, PUMA presents the new LEGA CALCIO Vintage Polo, developed in collaboration with Lega Calcio Serie A and featuring the iconic historic Lega Calcio logo, an element that recalls the heritage of Italian football. The polo is available in three colorways: New Navy – PUMA White, Warm White – PUMA Black and Bordeaux – PUMA White.
The collection celebrates Serie A’s tradition with a contemporary style designed to blend elegance, identity, and everyday comfort. Synergies with Electronic Arts also include the LEGA CALCIO Vintage Polo, which makes its in-game debut on December 2nd as the official kit of the Serie A Classic Team, the squad of Serie A legends featured in EA SPORTS FC™ 26.
