THE GREATEST TELEVISION PRODUCTION OF THE YEAR

The largest number of cameras ever used in the competition will offer an unprecedented show to the more than 180 countries that will follow the EA SPORTS FC Supercup live

History and great champions on the pitch; a trophy to be won, the EA SPORTS FC Supercup, which sees the best teams of the last season competing; a television production of absolute excellence to tell every detail of the action and the protagonists on the pitch. This and much more will be the EA SPORTS FC Supercup, which for the fifth time will be played in Saudi Arabia, the fourth in Riyadh. Like last year it will be played at Al-Awwal Park in Riyadh and the four-team formula will be used. In order to maximise the show on the pitch, with state-of-the-art camera technology, Lega Serie A will adopt the highest standard of production used in the Championship, implemented with up to 36 cameras with on-field integrations, in particular from the domestic licensee Mediaset and the Broadcaster on the Territory Saudi Sports Channel. Fans from home will once again be able to enjoy a great event, with innovative and engaging shots thanks to the use of special cameras and editorially enhanced graphics. The steadycam on the pitch, cameras with cinematic optics, including a jimmy iib with the Sony ‘Venice’ full frame camera (with focus puller), the back cameras, the intellijib and the SuperSlowMotion reverse cameras, as well as the gimbal cameras and the micro cameras positioned at the two benches, will be just some of the technological excellences that will be used throughout the tournament. Drones, including an acrobatic one, will also be available to provide spectacular shots from above, as well as the Sky Cam, which will provide both tactical storytelling on the game and emotional storytelling on the crowd. In addition to the live event there will also be special clips that will provide unprecedented and captivating points of view: the support of replays will also allow the creation of videos with a high visual impact, allowing viewers to appreciate every technical gesture in detail. "In this Italian Supercup we raise, once again, the standard of sports television production - said Lega Seire A CEO Luigi De Siervo -. Never before have we fielded as many as 36 cameras, taking into account the acrobatic drone, the Sky Cam, and the cinema cameras. We are transforming the broadcasting of the match into an immersive and engaging visual experience, capable of capturing every emotion, on the pitch and in the stands, as well as narrating the various phases of the game and the most significant technical gestures. Thanks to the collaboration with Mediaset and Saudi Sports Channel, a television production of great technical and aesthetic quality will be produced to further enhance the Serie A product globally. This production effort reflects our commitment to innovate and to make Italian football, more and more, a true show for everyone". In addition to Mediaset, which will broadcast the matches in Italy, in the rest of the world the competition will be distributed live by 53 broadcasters, covering a total of more than 180 territories.
