Verona looking to save themselves against Como

A match point in safety for Verona who are hosting Como at the Bentegodi: with three points, the Venetians would be mathematically safe. However, Fàbregas’ side will do all they can to continue their winning streak.

After a 3-2 win in the reverse fixture on September 29th, Como could win both of their games in a Serie A season against Hellas Verona for the first time in the top-flight. Como are unbeaten in their last six Serie A games against Hellas Verona (W2 D4) and could avoid the defeat in seven successive games against a single opponent for the first time in the top-flight. Hellas Verona are unbeaten in five of their six Serie A home games against Como (W3 D2): all between 1976 and 1988, although they have failed to score in their last two matches (D1 L1).
