After Genoa vs. Como and Lecce vs. Empoli, it’s over to Venezia and Parma to try to escape danger

Saturday’s action on Serie A MD12 starts at the Penzo with another key fixture in the relegation battle. After a draw with Monza and a victory over Udinese, Venezia came close to a draw with Inter and a win would see them go above Parma in the table. The Gialloblù will obviously want to spoil that plan. Parma currently have one point more than the hosts but, after a run of four consecutive draws, lost to Genoa last time out. They will need to kick up a gear to move out of the lower reaches of the table.

Venezia are winless in their six Serie A encounters against Parma (D2 L4) - only against Hellas Verona have they played more matches (seven) without winning than against the Ducali (six) in the competition.
