Torino FC 26/27 Away shirt
There are bonds that are forged thousands of kilometres apart, spanning oceans and generations, and passed down from father to son as a heritage shared by two peoples even before it is shared by two clubs. This is how, for over a century, the destiny of Torino has been intertwined with that of River Plate: two sets of supporters, two cultures, one single, shared passion.
The new away shirt designed by Torino FC and Joma for the 2026/27 season captures precisely this bond, the ‘Eterna Amistad’, which takes on an even more special significance this year: it marks Torino’s 120th anniversary and River Plate’s 125th, two milestones that are woven together in a single shirt.
This is not the first time the two clubs have exchanged a symbolic tribute on their shirts. The new away shirt continues this tradition, but with a brand-new design: River’s red stripe cuts the white shirt in two, starting from the stylised bull and gradually fading into the Granata colour. This colour gradient is designed to visually represent the union between Torino and River Plate and to celebrate the ‘Eterna Amistad’ that has bound them together for over a century. The gradient stripe adds character to a clean, minimalist base, whilst the contrasting polo collar reinforces the shirt’s retro spirit with an authentically classic elegance.
For the 2026/27 season, Joma has introduced cutting-edge textile solutions in Torino FC’s away shirt, designed to meet the demands of modern football. The fabric, made from 100% recycled polyester sourced from PET plastic bottles, is lightweight, durable and reduces CO₂ emissions by 75% compared to traditional materials. The Jacquard finish promotes ventilation, whilst the Micro-Mesh System, positioned in areas of highest perspiration, ensures efficient moisture management. The shirt is completed by a heat-applied silicone crest, which reduces chafing without restricting the garment’s flexibility, durable stitching and ribbed details on the collar and cuffs, for a fit that adapts perfectly to the player’s body.
