SERIE A JANUARY TRANSFER WINDOW: RASPADORI, VAZ AND CLUB’S MOVES
The Serie A Enilive winter transfer window is in full swing and, halfway through, it has already delivered highly interesting moves, impressive returns, and targeted deals aimed at reshaping the season. From Atalanta’s pursuit of Giacomo Raspadori to Roma’s blitz for the young French player Robinio Vaz, to the bets made by Lazio and Lecce, as well as moves by Fiorentina, AC Milan, and Pisa, the winter market promises to shake up hierarchies and ambitions for several clubs. Here is the complete team-by-team recap of all the main January transfer window signings in Serie A Enilive so far.
Atalanta make their move**: Raspadori** returns to Serie A
Giacomo Raspadori returns to Italy after a brief spell at Atlético de Madrid, choosing Atalanta as his next destination, where he joins on a permanent deal to relaunch himself at the highest level. Palladino welcomes him into a team still competing for a European spot and also active in the Champions League, an ideal setting for the Italian number 10, who reunites with Gianluca Scamacca, his former teammate at Sassuolo and trusted partner in the national team, positioning himself as one of the main attacking options for the Dea.
In Atalanta’s 3-4-2-1 system, Raspadori can play as a playmaker behind the striker, alongside De Ketelaere or Lookman, maximising his ability to link play and attack the box. His Serie A Enilive record speaks for itself: 31 goals combined with Sassuolo and Napoli, peaking with 10 goals in the 2021/22 season with Sassuolo. At Bergamo, they are convinced that his arrival will enhance the team’s quality and offensive weight.
Roma, a talent gamble**: Robinio Vaz** arrives
Roma are already looking to the future and have made their first attacking signing in Robinio Vaz, fresh from his experience at Olympique Marseille. Born in France on 17 February 2007, Vaz made his Ligue 1 debut on 19 January 2025 under Roberto De Zerbi, showing personality and qualities uncommon for his age.
In the French league, he scored 4 goals in 16 appearances, impressing especially with his technique, ability to move between the lines, and impact during matches. A mobile forward, skilled at receiving the ball between the lines, stretching the play, and attacking the box at different moments, Vaz has also stood out for his ability to create chances for teammates, making him one of the most interesting playmakers in Ligue 1. The high and continuous pressing he demonstrated at Marseille fits perfectly with Gasperini’s style of play, who welcomes him to the squad as a long-term investment to be gradually developed.
Lazio, generational change at Formello
Lazio have seen a changing of the guard with the sale of two pillars of their squad, Castellanos and Guendouzi, by now focussing on young but already developed profiles. The first is Petar Ratkov, a Serbian forward born in 2003, who grew up at Bačka Topola and matured at RB Salzburg. After two quiet seasons, Ratkov has exploded this season with nine goals and two assists in 17 appearances, attracting the attention of the Biancocelesti. Compared to Taty, Ratkov offers a more physical, box-oriented profile, strong in the air and capable of working with his back to goal.
Joining him is Kenneth Taylor, born in 2002, a product of Ajax and already surprisingly experienced: 184 appearances, 36 goals, and 27 assists, along with two Eredivisie titles and a Dutch Cup in his trophy cabinet. A complete central midfielder, skilled both in breaking up play and in build-up, Taylor represents the ideal long-term replacement for Guendouzi.
Sarri, in fact, didn’t waste any time: the Dutchman was immediately in the starting team at the Bentegodi, while Ratkov got 35 minutes on the pitch as a substitute.
Fiorentina, ready-to-use reinforcements**: Brescianini** and Solomon
Fiorentina are moving quickly in the transfer market to provide immediate solutions for Vanoli. Brescianini arrives from Atalanta with the aim of relaunching himself after a first half of the season with just nine appearances, all from the bench. A midfielder who was developed at AC Milan and coming off two positive seasons with Frosinone and Atalanta, he offers late runs into the box, work rate, and a meaningful attacking contribution. In his debut for the Viola against AC Milan, his dream of scoring on his first appearance was thwarted by the crossbar in the final moments.
The first move of the winter transfer window, however, was Manor Solomon, the Israeli winger owned by Tottenham. Arriving in Florence after a loan spell at Villarreal, Solomon brings quality, one-on-one ability, and unpredictability. Having made his name with Shakhtar Donetsk, last season he helped Leeds secure promotion with ten goals and 13 assists in 41 Championship matches. In Serie A Enilive, he has already shown his qualities when it comes to dribbling, crossing, and intensity in his first 53 minutes on the pitch, proving he can immediately become a valuable asset to set up Kean and Gudmundsson.
Pisa, the survival signing**: Durosinmi** to turn things around
Pisa are looking to Rafiu Durosinmi to turn their fortunes around. Born in 2003, the 192 cm Nigerian attacker, arrives from Viktoria Plzen after seasons of steady growth, highlighted by strong performances in the Europa League. This season he has already scored 13 goals, confirming his keen finishing ability. His physicality, presence in the box, and potential for further development make Durosinmi a decisive signing in the Nerazzurri’s winter transfer window.
Lecce, talent scouting from Corvino: Gandelman and Ngom
Lecce continue to focus on international talents to develop. Omri Gandelman, an Israeli midfielder standing 188 cm tall, arrives from Gent, where he scored 33 goals over three seasons. His debut against Parma, although limited to about twenty minutes, has already sparked fans’ curiosity due to his physical presence and ability to make late runs into the box.
Alongside him is Oumar Ngom, a French midfielder born in 2001, coming off eleven appearances in the Portuguese Liga with Estrela Amadora. Both players fit the club’s philosophy and are ready to grow within the context of Serie A.
Verona, attacking addition**: Isaac** from Brazil
Hellas Verona have strengthened their attack with Isaac, born in 2004, arriving from Atlético Mineiro. In his last season in Portugal with Nacional, he scored three goals in 27 appearances. A physical and direct player, he is expected to quickly adapt to the team’s system, providing depth and attacking options for a squad in search of reliable attacking references.
AC Milan, the arrival of Füllkrug and the forced stop
AC Milan opened the January transfer window with the arrival of Niclas Füllkrug, formerly of Borussia Dortmund and the German national team. After a quiet spell in the Premier League, the striker arrived at Milanello bringing unique qualities to the Rossoneri attack. The understanding with Pulisic seen in Florence immediately showed promising signs, but a foot injury will keep him out for weeks, depriving Allegri of an attacking reference who compliments the forwards already in the squad.
