Roma host Udinese aiming to bounce back

After their defeat to AC Milan, Roma welcome Udinese in the hope of climbing back to the top.

Roma and Udinese meet at the Olimpico on matchday 11 in Serie A. The Giallorossi, determined to recover from last week’s loss to AC Milan, are chasing first place, while Udinese are hoping to follow up last week’s victory over Atalanta with another win to climb further up the table.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

There are 54 official meetings between the two sides in Rome with a record of 34 giallorossi wins (latest 3-0, in last year's Serie A), 13 draws (latest 1-1, in Serie A 2008/09) and 7 bianconeri successes (latest 2-0, in Serie A 2019/20). Roma come into this on 5 consecutive home wins against the Friulians, who last came away from the Olimpico unscathed in the 2-0 on 2 July 2020, goals from Lasagna and Nestorovski. A draw has been missing in Rome between the two sides since 7 March 2009, 1-1 sealed by goals from Vucinic and Felipe; then 17 clashes at the Olimpico, with 15 Roma victories and 2 Friulian ones.
