Parma vs Bologna, survival and Europe
The Derby dell’Emilia takes place at the Tardini, as Parma host Bologna. Cuesta’s men come off a defeat to Roma and haven’t won since late September, their only win in the league so far, and need to step up to move away from the bottom. The Rossoblù, after losing two of their first three matches, have remained unbeaten, coming off draws against Fiorentina and Torino, and are chasing three points to stay firmly among the league’s top sides.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
The two teams have met 25 times in Parma, with Bologna winning eight times (most recently 2-0 in last season's Serie A), 12 draws (most recently 2-2 in the 2019/20 Serie A) and five wins for Bologna (most recently 3-0 in the 2020/21 Serie A). The historic precedent was the 2004/05 relegation play-off: Parma remained in Serie A, losing 0-1 at home in the first leg and overturning the result in the return leg with a 2-0 win at the Dall'Ara.
DID YOU KNOW?
Parma is the team with the most 0-0 draws in Serie A 2025/26: three in nine games, along with Pisa.
