Massimiliano Alvini Philadelphia Coach Of The Month for August-September

The Philadelphia Coach Of The Month award for August-September has been assigned to Frosinone coach Massimiliano Alvini. The trophy will be presented during the pre-match of Frosinone vs Sassuolo, scheduled for Friday 16 October 2026 at 8.45 p.m at the “Benito Stirpe” stadium in Frosinone.

The award was assigned by a jury of Directors of sports media who evaluated each coach on the basis of technical and sporting criteria and the quality of play of their teams.

For the final calculation were considered the matchdays from 1 to 5 of Serie A 2026/2027

"Massimiliano Alvini’s Frosinone is certainly one of the most pleasant surprises of this excellent start to the season - said Luigi De Siervo, Chief Executive of Lega Calcio Serie A -. Frosinone, despite being a newly promoted side, are playing well and have managed to get results even against top-flight opponents, thanks to the pressing, high intensity and dynamism that are Alvini’s trademark. The manager is making the most of an interesting squad, also because it comprises many young Italian talents who are committed to their manager’s philosophy, playing an intense style of football that delivers results whilst also providing entertainment and excitement".
