LEGA SERIE A, MAECI AND ICE FOR MADE IN ITALY
Lega Serie A announces the launch of "Made in Italy - International Main Partner Lega Serie A", an international communication project that - in agreement with Maeci (Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation) and ICE (Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalisation of Italian companies) - will promote on several channels to over 500 million people worldwide the beautiful and well-made products of our production chains through the direct involvement of 20 clubs and the most iconic players of Italian football.
The project will include - over the course of the 2023/2024 football season broadcast abroad under the name of 'Serie A Made in Italy' - a series of activities to promote our excellence, such as, among others, the production of videos in which players and clubs will describe the Italian production districts linked to the territories to which their teams belong, and the participation of Lega Serie A Ambassadors at trade fair events. "With ICE we have always shared the commitment to express and export the highest values that Made in Italy represents at a global level - said Lega Serie A CEO, Luigi De Siervo -. Thanks to the work carried out in recent years by Lega Serie A with the establishment of the foreign offices in New York and Abu Dhabi we will be even more present in strategic markets to pursue these targets. Our media company will also allow us to create exclusive content that will be distributed by the more than 65 broadcasters that transmit our matches in more than 200 territories, and that will feature the stars of the Italian league. In this way, we will tell a story of excellence, attention to detail and projection towards the future that is as much a part of our football as it is of Italian productions".
