Lazio v Genoa: Matchday 23 gets underway
Matchday 23 of Serie A kicks off at the Stadio Olimpico. Lazio have won just twice in their last ten matches, a return that has slowed their push for a place in Europe, and after the defeat against Como and the 0-0 draw in Lecce, they are targeting three points to get back on track. Genoa are also aiming for victory: they have picked up nine points from the last five rounds and are looking to move further clear of the lower end of the table.

There have been 67 meetings in Rome between the two sides: Lazio have won 37 (most recently 3–0 in Serie A 2024/25), there have been 21 draws (most recently 1–1 in Serie A 2008/09) and Genoa have won nine (most recently 1–0 away in Serie A 2023/24).
