Hellas still needs points for safety in Salerno

Salernitana bid farewell to Serie A TIM hoping to obtain a victory for the first time since the end of 2023. Verona, on the other hand, with three points, would be safe

The Arechi says goodbye to Serie A TIM after three seasons: the hosts welcome Verona and are looking for their first victory in 2024 to send their fans off into the summer in the best possible way. Verona are also looking for three points; after the defeat by Torino, they will want a win to conquer safety mark, ahead of the last match of the season, at home, against the Italian Champions, Inter.

Considering only the second half of the Serie A season, Hellas Verona have gained 20 points in 17 matches (1.2 points on average) and would occupy 13th place in the standings, while they had finished the first part of the season with 14 points from 19 matches (0.7 points average) and sat in 18th place in the standings. Salernitana are the team that have conceded the most goals in Serie A this season (76); their worst record of goals conceded in a full single Serie A season is 78, set in 2021-22.
