Genoa want to stay clear of the relegation zone, while Venezia are hoping to close the gap on 17th place

Matchday 25 will come to an end at the Luigi Ferraris, where Genoa will take on Venezia at 20:45 CET. After their defeat to Fiorentina and draw with Torino last time out, the Rossoblù are aiming for three points to stay clear of the relegation zone. It’s a must-win game for Venezia, who trail their next opponents by eleven points and remain rooted in the relegation zone following defeats to Udinese and Roma.

After the 2-0 win in the reverse match on 21st September 2024, Venezia could win both matches in a season against Genoa for the first time in Serie A; Overall, only between 1943 and 1946 did the Venetians win two consecutive games against the Grifone in the top-flight.
