Fiorentina vs Torino looking for redemption

Fiorentina and Torino are playing to get off the mark in the league table.

Both Fiorentina and Torino will be looking to pick up points and put a disappointing start to the season behind them as they battle it out at the Franchi on matchday 3 of Serie A. The Viola must reset and leave the defeats to Roma and Frosinone in the past with zero goals scored and seven conceded. Torino, however, have been slightly better but still not enough, narrowly losing out to Milan and Sassuolo.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

The two sides have met 85 times in official matches in Florence: 42 Fiorentina wins (most recently 1-0 in Serie A in 2023/24), 32 draws (most recently 2-2 in Serie A in 2025/26) and 11 Torino wins (most recently 1-0 in Serie A in 2022/23).

A clash between two of the teams still without a point after the opening two matchdays: Fiorentina last found themselves in this situation in 2019/20, while Torino last did so in 2021/22.
