Fiorentina are hunting Bologna down and are dreaming of overtaking them

The Apennine derby will be crucial at the Franchi with Fiorentina determined to win and leapfrog their opponents to continue their European fight. It is the same goal for Bologna who, after winning the Frecciarossa Coppa Italia, want to get going again in their fight for Europe.

HEAD-TO-HEAD

Bologna are the opponent against whom Fiorentina have recorded the most victories in their Serie A history: 57 wins in 145 matches, along with 42 wins for the Emilians and 46 draws. Bologna have won four of their last five Serie A matches against Fiorentina (L1), including the most recent two. The Rossoblu have recorded three consecutive wins against the Viola in the competition only once before: between 1965 and 1966.
