Como v Atalanta, three points for Europe
At the Sinigaglia, Matchday 23 of the Serie A season sees a clash between two of the league’s most in-form sides. Como secured their second consecutive win by putting six past Torino, firmly pushing their case for a place in the top four. On the other hand, Atalanta have collected 13 points from their last five matches, most recently cruising to a 4-0 win over Parma. La Dea are aiming to close the gap on their opponents and the teams at the top of the table.
HEAD-TO-HEAD
There have been 28 Lombardy derbies in Como: Como have won 15 (most recently 1–0 in Serie A 1988/89), there have been seven draws (most recently 1–1 in Serie A 2002/03) and Atalanta have won six (most recently 2–1 away in Serie A 2024/25).
Como’s last home win over Atalanta at the Sinigaglia dates back to 14 May 1989: a 1–0 Serie A victory, decided by Marco Simone.

Only Inter (50) have scored more goals than Como (37) in Serie A 2025/26.
Only Roma (13) have conceded fewer goals than Como (16) in Serie A 2025/26.
Atalanta have 35 points after 22 matchdays: the Bergamaschi have not had a record like this at this stage of the season since 2018/19. That year, they still finished third with 69 points.

Since Raffaele Palladino took charge of Atalanta, the Orobici rank fourth in the form table: 22 points from 11 matches. Only Inter (28), Milan (25) and Juventus (23) have done better; Como are also on 22.
