AC Milan head to Genoa to defend their UCL spot

Genoa have their final home game, as they host an AC Milan side in turmoil and in need of points.

Go again to not undo the work done to dare. AC Milan, who have taken four points in their last six games, travel to Genoa. They are hoping to rediscover some form late in the season, following their dip in the last month and a half. This slump is putting their Champions League hopes at risk, and the Rossoneri need a win to stave off the chasing pack (though they are ahead in the head-to-head against both Como and Roma). However, Genoa, following consecutive goalless draws against Atalanta and Fiorentina, will be hoping to give their fans a win in their final home game of the campaign.

HEAD TO HEAD

There have been 60 previous official matches at Marassi: the Rossoblù have recorded 16 wins (most recently 3-0, Serie A 2016/17), 22 draws (most recently 2-2, Serie A 2020/21) and the Rossoneri have recorded 22 wins (most recently 1-2, Serie A 2024/25).

Milan are on a run of 10 consecutive positive results (at Marassi and San Siro) against Genoa across Serie A and the Coppa Italia: a record of 5 wins and 5 draws (including a win after extra time in the 2021/22 Coppa Italia). The Rossoblù’s last victory dates back to Milan 1-2 Genoa on 8 March 2020, Serie A.

Genoa are on a run of seven consecutive home matches without a win against Milan: a record of six Rossoneri wins and one draw.
