THE GREAT TV PRODUCTION FOR THE FINAL
A few hours before the kick-off of the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa Final, which will see AC Milan and Bologna face each other on the pitch of the ‘Olimpico’ stadium in Rome, Lega Serie A is preparing to offer the fans in the stands and the spectators who will watch the match on television from all over the world, an innovative and engaging show. The best technologies at the service of the event, the most advanced cameras and new captivating shots will characterise the footage that will be broadcast in about 180 countries around the world by the more than 50 broadcasters that will follow the match. Underlining the importance of the Final, there will be an extraordinary and unprecedented participation of foreign operators on a global scale, not only to comment on the match from the stadium but also to integrate the international signal with interviews and customised content for their own market. It will once again be a record television production, with the use of 31 cameras on the field for the Host production, in addition to those of the Clubs' thematic channel, the integration of the primary national licensee Mediaset (8), mainly for the realisation of its own pre and post-match customisation activities, and the international broadcasters present on site, both for live activities and for integration activities to enrich the event. In addition to these, there will also be the cameras of Radio TV Serie A with RDS, with on-site commentary, the International Magazine and those for the production of special content for social media use by Lega Serie A and the two finalist clubs. For the first time, it will be possible to virtualise the TV signal not only by operating on the main camera of the Programme, but also on the two cameras located at 16 metres, as well as virtualising the LEDs on the sidelines for the national territory and match highlights. "Telling a Coppa Italia Final today means bringing, thanks to live footage at the level of the best film productions, more and more spectators inside the event, making them experience the same emotions they feel at the stadium - said Lega Serie A CEO Luigi De Siervo -. For several years now, in fact, we have continued to raise the level of television entertainment in each edition, using cameras and, above all, the most advanced technologies, to build an engaging narrative that takes Serie A fans connected from over 180 countries around the world close to the action, showing them every detail of the game with unprecedented image quality. As proof of the growing interest in this Coppa Italia final, we also see a significant increase in the number of foreign licensed broadcasters present ‘on-site’ to enrich their transmissions with on-field reports and interviews. An important new feature of this match will be the use and enhancement of Virtual Advertising tools, which will allow us to optimise advertising space in the various TV signals in Italy and abroad, guaranteeing our partners greater and more personalised visibility for each market".
